The Barrie Baycats are an independent professional baseball team in the newly rebranded Canadian Baseball League which was established in 1919 as the Intercounty Baseball League. The Baycats, established in 2001 are based in Barrie, Ontario and play their home games at Athletic Kulture Stadium at the Barrie Community Sports Complex in Midhurst, Ontario. The Baycats own a rich history of 8 Championships in 2005, 6 championships in a row between 2014-2019 and most recently in 2024. The organization is currently a non-profit and has been supporting the local community in various ways for the past 20+ years!
